Synopsis:

Shin Yoon Bok is a talented painter who disguises herself as a boy to search for her father’s murderer and meets a master painter who guided her into being a great painter. Kim Hong Do is the man who teaches Yoon Bok how to paint and they develop a strong friendship of mentor and disciple.

As Kim Hong-do famous for his good temper is particular only to Yoon-bok and lashs out only at her,  Yoon-bok makes every efforts not to lose to Hong-do.

Jeong Jo assigns Yoon-bok and Hong-do a secret mission. Through the process of working for the mission, Yoon-bok becomes aware of Hong-do’s hearts and
finds herself looking for Hong-do’s images …

He is a playful and humorous guy who has a stately presence and gets along well with everyone.

But when it comes to painting he is an absolute genius who maintain his pride in any moment.

He noticed Shin Yoon-bok’s talent and his eyes lighted up when he met him at the apprentice chamber of Dohwaseo(the Royal Bureau of Painting of Joseon).

Looking back his easy life through the appearance of Shin Yoon-bok,he is jealous of Yoon-bok’s talent that he doesn’t have.
Through the experience of DongJeGackHwa(two painters’ drawing on the same subjet) that the king Jeong Jo orders, Hong-do starts to match his skills against Yoon-bok and to fall into Yoon-bok. Finally he feels something more than that as a teacher…

This drama is superb.:] in spite with its rating …

Though Shin yoon book acts like a guy in here especially when she fall for a girl. its kinda crazy but as the story goes on.. its getting better and better…XD you can learn a lot from here art esp. this drama came from a novel which i believe has the same title. the writer was incredible’ its not that easy to put the interest of the viewers to art esp. painting thing. but this drama done it well.:] a love grown which shows that age doesnt matter and the talent that can surpass anyone:]… not to mention Moon Geun’s acting Parkshin yang. and specially the king the queen the merchant park jin woo , Moon chae.. they was superb:] hope they’ll get highest rating soon:D
